Ahh, 5.5. Just got that working, It is a decent CPU, compared to 4.0, which cheats out it's ass. The fact that I'm having fun against this crappy AI makes me really want the game to release.

I'm using V3.0 right now because 5.5 kicked my ass. I've been enjoying 3.0. We seem to go back and forwards a lot which is nice. So originally based on watching videos I thought I was going to go Protoss. However, how that I have been playing I think I'm going to go Zerg unless they get nerfed. Right now I run early 6 pool ling rush and if that fails I switch to a Trip Hatch mass Roach build. Roaches seem OP and once I get the Roach speed upgrade it is over. Combine that with burrow and movement underground with the fast underground regen rate it is insane. What have your experiences with the beta been like? What builds are you running, what seems to work for you?

The 5.0 Ai I hhave right now is pretty susceptible to Zealot rushes, but tends to overwhelm me in the midgame.
Just for fun, I was playing on Shakuras Plateau, and the AI has no idea how to deal with destructible rocks, so they just build huge forces in their base and do nothing with them. So I just built a force of 6 carriers, 6 void rays, and 10 Colossi, fully upgraded. Stomped the shit out of all three AI's by just walking up the cliffs into their bases and leveling them. Zerg base had a good 20+ ultralisks in them, each one died within a second when focus-fired. not a viable strat for anything, but fun to just blow the shit out of things.
I;ve found the mass warp gate strategy is decent. Robotics facility for Warp Prisms make it even more fun. And do love the colossus units.

Yeah I have to say I'm stuck on the mass Roach push followed by Hydro/Roach combo if the initial push fails/they tech air. The Roach is so damn OP right now. Tons of HP and about 4 of them in a group will 1 shot. Plus with the quick movement speed and burrow regen rate you can just micro all day long.
