I've seen a lot of rocket jumping tutorial videos, those by far are the best.

Some basic strategy, but it really helps out the people who are just starting out the class/game.

That heavy one was good for being with a medic, but far too many times your team will decide that you don't need a medic, and you'll have to fight on your own. Here is a very good video that I even learned some things from, and I play Heavy quite a bit. It's focused on being a good heavy with very little medic support:

So I tried rocket jumping in game last night. It's fooking hard getting the timing right. I'm sure I was a liability to the team sorry!
