People and companies kinda go slow and we have to get a lot of ducks in order to get things ready. We have sponsors and the venue (when we get one finalized) and a lot of other things to consider. We're also still waiting on details from ALF, and I think they were going for June also. Having 3 months to plan instead of 2 really is a big difference. I don't know why this is a shock, again both me and f0rkz said it was probably happening in June. It was in June last year.

Sye, you told me you could go in June. I have June dates up. Now you say earlier than the middle of June.
If I add that weekend you mention, you'll say that wont work...etc...etc...etc...
Let the vote go through and we'll scale the dates around that. If there is a huge following for mid-June, maybe we will scale a new vote around June. I am sure whatever I plan wont make everyone happy.

Hopefully the block for the 9th will get some more votes. I really want to be at the lan, but I highly doubt they'll let me take a ride to Atlanta with Looongcat.

Only weekend I will have any problem with attending is the weekend of July 18th. That's mine and my wife's 2 year wedding anniversary. Any other date I should be fine. I would sure hate to miss this LAN since it will be the first one I'll be attending as an f7 member...

I'll get to work on our new marketing campaign: "F7 LAN's Summer LAN 2010: Love is in the air!" or "F7 LAN's Summer LAN 2010: Bring your wives and you don't have to get your own beer!" I guess we should go with the more PC one huh?
