I don't know what it is but to me it doesn't look much better honestly, it's just a different environment in those screenshots. Still I enjoyed the first half of the first one, least until the aliens came in and it went steadily down hill from there game play wise, least for me it did. Second half of that game was just bleh. Hopefully the second will be a lot better. I won't argue the fact that it was a gorgeous game however. ^_-

I dont know dude. I think the visuals have improved quite a bit there, provided that they are actual ingame and not pre-rendered images to sell the game.

Is it confirmed that those are actual in game screen shots and not something touched up and all?

Nothing has been said on the forums about touch ups, but seeing as they were release by the company they were probably touched up. If you look at the screenshots of the first and the actual game play they are pretty close. Honestly, I don't think the engine couldn't produce something of this quality. If I remember correctly the Crytek engine and the UT3 can handle the most polys per character and scene. Who knows, maybe once a trailer comes out we can see the actual footage.

I agree, hopefully they improve the gameplay. After entering the alien ship gameplay flatlined fast and became boring.

Yeah finding my way out of that alien ship was like scratching my nuts with a cheese grater.

HAHA, I agree. I remember trying to get out of that stupid ship, it was retarded. I just wanted to nuke myself in the ship and take my own life to finish the game.
