I don't know about you guys but im excited for this game. Civ 4 was such a great game. I remember when i first played it. Which was about 2 years ago, I was looking for a game at target but i wanted to play something ive never played before and Civ4 was it. This game blew me away on how it just sucked you in to the game and having the hours feel like minutes.

Civ 2 was my first introduction to this series and I remember getting sucked into the whole just one more turn thing, next thing I knew it was 5AM.

What do you think - Keith David for the new narrator? (Narrates opening passage of this video; also the Arbiter in the Halo series and the narrator of Ken Burns' documentary The War , among other things)

I've always been more of a fan of the Total War series over Civ but I'll definitely be giving this a try.

I've stuck with the Empire Earth series. I have EE2 and EE3, both are very fun RTS's, but like sleeper said earlier,

I concur - EE takes my cake for favorite RTS.

I am upset with Civ since I played Civ 4 and got my shit wrecked in ways that made no sense. I had tanks killed by fucking spearmen. Shit pisses me off just thinking about it, I hope we don't get that sort of stuff with Civ5.
